SUMMARY

Paul W. Taylor is an attorney, arbitrator and administrative hearing officer. His legal representation and arbitration experience includes public and private works construction, real estate and general business disputes.

Mr. Taylor received his Juris Doctor degree from McGeorge School of Law in 1989. He formerly practiced law at Diepenbrock, Wulff, Plant & Hannegan in Sacramento, California. Mr. Taylor has been of counsel at Hefner, Stark & Marois, LLP, since 1996.

Currently, Mr. Taylor serves on the American Arbitration Association Commercial Complex Case panel, State of California Department of General Services Public Works arbitration panel, and is an administrative Hearing Officer for the ten campuses of the University of California. Formerly, he was on the Board of Directors of the California Dispute Resolution Council and a member of the Associated General Contractors of California Legal Advisory Committee, London Court of International Arbitrations and the International Chamber of Commerce arbitration panel.

He is a frequent author, keynote speaker and guest lecturer. Recent speaking engagements include: Guest Lecturer, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, Conflict Resolution Without Litigation; California State University, Sacramento, guest lecturer, Alternative Dispute Resolution; Coalition for Adequate School Housing, Trends in Construction Litigation; University of California Facilities Conference, Recent Trends in Bid Protests (panel).
