Kirk E. Giberson

Kirk E. Giberson is an experienced civil litigator specializing in complex business and real estate disputes, with an emphasis on debt collection and all aspects of commercial landlord-tenant matters. Mr. Giberson has represented plaintiffs and defendants for over 25 years and has extensive experience solving complex problems both inside and outside the courtroom for clients ranging from individuals and partnerships to nationally-recognized corporations.

Mr. Giberson has successfully represented property owners, banks, and developers in a wide array of business and real estate matters, including disputes relating to commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, easements, and ownership rights in real property. Mr. Giberson regularly handles unlawful detainer matters for commercial landlords of all types, to restore possession of real property, and often then institutes attendant collection actions on outstanding lease obligations. Mr. Giberson is also experienced in a wide array of other business matters, including contract enforcement, real estate finance disputes, and bankruptcy litigation.

Mr. Giberson is a graduate of Saint Mary’s College of California (B.A., summa cum laude, 1983), and University of California, Davis School of Law (J.D., 1986).
